christie sigmon, PA-c
Christie Sigmon is a Psychiatric Physician Assistant and the founder of Pathfinders, a mental health practice rooted in thoughtful, patient-centered care. She is dedicated to ensuring every patient feels genuinely heard, understood, and supported—not just as a diagnosis, but as a whole person.

Prior to opening Pathfinders Jax, Christie worked as a Psychiatric Physician Assistant at two academic hospitals, initially Mayo Clinic, Rochester followed by her time with UF Health, Jacksonville. She then spent a few years working as a provider at a well-established small private practice in NE Florida. It is through Christie’s work experience and training that her dedication toward the Pathfinders’ mission was born.

Christie provides individualized psychiatric care for patients ages 6 and up, with a focus on comprehensive evaluations, medication management when appropriate, and supportive psychotherapy. She takes a collaborative approach to treatment, working closely with patients and families to create care plans that reflect each individual’s unique needs, experiences, and goals.

Christie has extensive experience treating ADHD, anxiety, depression, OCD, maladaptive behaviors and mood disorders.

Known for her warm and attentive style, Christie prioritizes building trust and creating a space where patients feel comfortable, respected, and empowered in their mental health journey.
